The horrific events that took place yesterday in Oxford, Michigan literally hit home. I walked those halls, i walked confidently through that door each morning without fear of harm. Our students, faculty and staff will never be able to feel that again. Oxford is a community who shows up and offers an immense amount of support to their residents. ‘Oxford Strong’, ‘Oxford Proud’ are very true statements that speak to the members of this community. I know without a doubt that this community will come together and wrap their loving arms around all the families affected and help them heal in any way possible.
